The town of Pekan is accessible either from Kuantan or from Rompin. Most travelers would head to Pekan from Kuantan. Travelers from Kuala Lumpur should take the East Coast Expressway and exit at the Gambang Interchange. Then, Cruise along Jalan Gambang heading to Kuantan . Follow the sign board towards to Pekan. Make a u-turn nearby the Kolej Islam Sultan Ahmad Shah (KIPSAS) and take the left exit towards Jalan Kuantan-Pekan. Go straight on for approximately 30 km until you reach the DRB-HICOM Complex , Pekan. ICAM is on your right.

Cars from Johor on the other hand will enjoy cruising through the scenic coastal roads passing through Mersing and then to Kuala Rompin. From there, you may take the exit to Pekan.

If you are heading to Pekan from Kuala Lumpur, you may consider the following Plusliner or Transnasional shuttle bus.

Alternatively, from Kuantan, you can take the Kuantan – Pekan bus route serviced by Bee Huat and Rahmat Alam Company, which departs from the local bus station in Jalan Besar, next to the Kuantan river.
